Inside Sales 

This position is responsible for ensuring that all customer orders via phone, fax or email are managed and processed in a timely manner. This role is the front line customer service representative for all external customers and is critical to the sales process cycle which includes providing pricing, checking stock and meeting the delivery requirements in order to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.

Job Description 

  • Provide customers with quick reliable quotes and accurate delivery dates

  • Process sales orders and turn quotations into orders through customer interactions, primarily over the phone

  • Purchase nonstock material and arrange pick-up in accordance with customer expectations through Vendor Pick-ups notices

  • Proactive follow up on orders/quotations and requests

  • Enter orders and quotes in the system, expedite purchases while maintaining proactive communication with customers

  • Investigate and resolve customer issues; and returns in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers’ expectations and benefits

  • Maintain product literature to ensure most current information is available to customers

Skills we are seeking 

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • 2 + years in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution

  • General computer skills

  • Knowledge with HVAC, Plumbing and Waterworks will be an asset

  • Highly motivated and ability to think quickly and make decisions

  • Highschool or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage various orders and activities
